IT Security Project Manager

We are looking for a Security Project Manager to identify and manage key projects and initiatives relating to Security Programs. The projects will vary in scope, complexity, and affected business area(s). We are looking for an experienced project management professional with a technical background who is comfortable working with key stakeholders in all areas of the business.

• Responsible for submitting applications for, and maintaining IT Security Accreditations
•  Devise and develop a security plan risk assessment, security tests and evaluations, disaster recovery plan/continuity of operations plan
• Conduct internal assessments of cybersecurity risks and vulnerability
• Develop project plans and schedules, monitor tasks and deliverables
• Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
• Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives

Experience Required

• 3+ years of cross-functional project management experience in a technology industry
• Experience in compliance, privacy or security risk management (including vendor risk)
• Strong aptitude in understanding technical and business requirements
• Outstanding presentation, facilitation (security/privacy training courses), communication, and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, administrative, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to drive projects with little oversight
